Guido and Paola had long desired to fulfill their grandparents’ dream:   restoring their family country house.  Now that they have reached this goal, they would like to offer an experience of pure relaxation to anyone who wishes to stay in one of their lovely eight comfortable, air-conditioned rooms, each with a private bathroom.

 Five generations of the Papa family have resided in this home going back approximately 500 years when it was originally built at the foot of the glorious hill on which the Basilica of Loreto lies.  Recently this family structure has been completely restored and modernized, yet it remains true to its original character.

 A lighted pool can be enjoyed throughout the day and night exclusively by the guests of the Papa country house.  Relaxing at the poolside and in the garden, one can enjoy a magnificent view of Loreto’s Sanctuary which holds original parts of Holy Mary’s house of Nazareth and the famous Black Madonna.

 Footsteps away there is the little church where this sacred structure was placed for a time during its transit from the Holy Land to Loreto before arriving to its final destination in the Basilica.

You can take a walk in and around this mystical atmosphere famous to catholic pilgrims all over the world.  You can go by foot up the hill following the “Scale Sante.”  In the opposite direction there is a one-kilometre bike path which reaches the Adriatic sea and its beautiful beaches.

• Recanati, home of Giaccomo Leopardi and his library is approximately 10 km away

• Castelfidardo, land of the accordians is also only10 km distant

• Porto Recanati, beach-side resort and home to Beniamino Gigli’s villa is approximatley 4 km away

• Monte Conero can be  seen from the property and its famous beaches can be reached in only 10

    minutes by car.  You can visit Marcelli, Sirolo and the beautiful rock formations  “le due sorelle”
